Formed in the height of the seventies, The Doobie Brothers are a cult group famed for their diverse mix of genres and one-of-a-kind vocal harmonies. Throughout their successful career, they have moved from boogie rockers with a passion for mellow good vibes into an effortlessly smooth blue-eyed soul band. Active for five amazing decades, the outfit consists of founding members Tom Johnston (guitars, vocals) and Patrick Simmons (guitars, vocals), alongside John McFee (guitars, pedal steel, violin, backing vocals), and Michael McDonald (keyboards, vocals). Michael McDonald is the charming husky-voiced artist who penned and sang killer hits "Takin' It to the Streets," "It Keeps You Runnin'," and "Minute by Minute," as well as "What a Fool Believes."
