Back with an album that’s packed with larger-than-life tales, HOZIER is bringing the UNREAL UNEARTH TOUR to 2025. With an extended run of dates this summer, the “Take Me to Church” hitmaker will be turning the heat up with his electrifying live sets. From his big hits, crowd favorites, and down to his new tracks, he always delivers live music perfection. Seasoned concertgoers know that his tour is always packed with big surprises, and the crowd roars with delight. Mystery, emotion, and captivating energies, it’s all found at the Unreal Unearth Tour.
The folk, soul and blues rock artist caught the public eye when his debut single “Take Me to Church” became a global hit. Peaking at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and gaining platinum certifications around the globe, it was a rockin’ start to his career. Hozier began writing songs at the age of 15, and taught himself the guitar in school. From then on, the man’s brimming passion started to shine. Writing songs deeply rooted in emotion and real-life issues, it’s no wonder millions of people deeply resonate with his lyrical bangers.
His succeeding hits — “From Eden,” “Work Song,” “Someone New,” “Movement,” “Almost (Sweet Music),” and many more made him a quintessential name in the rock scene. Soaring vocals and powerfully emotive deliveries, his live shows are incredible feats that fans cannot miss out on. If you’ve shed a tear listening to his records, get ready to cry a river as his music comes to life. It surely is Unreal and Unearth.
“I didn't want to write songs that were about a lockdown; I didn't want to write songs that were about the pandemic,” Hozier told GRAMMY.com, sharing how the album was written at the time, but simply didn’t want to write about those lockdown eras. “But I did want to explore — or at least acknowledge, even as a nod structurally — this feeling of going into something, these new circumstances and experiences in that time and coming out the other side of it.”
Since breaking out in 2013, the man has only released three studio albums — proving that writing means serious business. In a conversation with Rolling Stone, he reflects how his earlier songs had him “quite stricken by how vulnerable it was or how straight up it was.” Known to talk about life’s harsh pains, it’s a catalog that’ll have you crying a river.
Recently, Hozier was back once more with another hit single “Too Sweet,” awarded 4x Platinum by the RIAA. The track is part of his “Unheard” EP, featuring songs that didn’t make the cut for Unreal Unearth.
Coming to you live at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheater, Hozier is lighting up the skies. Performing under the stars, get ready to witness a crowd singing back every single word in unison, coming together for music that’s struck and connected souls. An easy drive from the city, it’s the perfect place to celebrate the man’s larger-than-life hits. Adding a second night, it’s clear that all of you can’t help but snatch up these golden spots to witness Hozier’s Unreal Unearth magic.
