This American Country Singer-songwriter and epic guitarist was born in Kentucky, then moved to Nashville in 1996 to study for an engineering degree. He went on to drop out of this degree to pursue his music career and boy are we all glad he did!

Chris Stapleton released his debut solo album in 2015 after being a vocalist in two separate bands, The Steel drivers which is a bluegrass band, and The Jompson Brothers which is a Rock band. His Debut solo album “Traveller”, soon after releasing was already at the top of the US Billboard 200 and had already received a Quadruple platinum certification by the RIAA. He also released a cover of “Tennessee Whiskey” which now has over ONE BILLION views! It also received diamond certification in 2015. His second studio album was released in 2017 and was titled “ From A Room; Vol 1” and earned Chris a second CMA award for album of the year as well as a Grammy Award for best country album. He has co-written six number one singles for other artists on the Hot Country Songs Charts like Kenny Chesney’s “Never Wanted Nothing More” which was number one for five weeks straight, and josh turners “Your Man”.

Chris has also been credited on albums for artists such as Taylor Swift, Adele and Kelly Clarkson. He went on to win his third Grammy Award in 2020 for his fourth album “Starting Over”. He now has over ten Grammy Awards under his belt as well as eleven Academy of Country Music (ACM) awards and fifteen Country Music Association (CMA) Awards and has been named as Artist and songwriter of the decade in 2019. He has also been named as one of Rolling Stones list of 200 greatest singers of all time!
