This summer, the Fox God is travelling across North America with one of Japan’s most iconic Metal bands.

On July 21st at Salt Lake City, Utah, the world famous kawaii metal band BABYMETAL is back with their North America Tour at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre with two incredible international special guests.

BABYMETAL has been on the scene for over a decade now with impressive discography and multiple world tours. You may recognise their fusion metal singles ‘Gimmie Chocolate!!,’ Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!,’ and ‘RATATATA.’

The band will be supported by the magnificent Ukrainian Heavy Metal band Jinjer and India’s most known metal band Bloodywood.

The gig is jam packed with international acts that have been rocking the world for years, each with their unique and authentic infusion of sounds and music that stands out from the ever growing list of heavy metal bands. From the Far East and Southern Asia to Eastern Europe, the diverse take of Heavy Metal music is to be witnessed.

Strap in, Salt Lake City! Your city is about to get a taste of Japanese Heavy Metal music. Back with their “North America Tour,” the Japanese Kawaii Metal BABYMETAL are back on U.S. soil to rock the nation throughout the months of June and July.

On July 21st, the iconic band will be playing at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre with support from the Ukrainian legends Jinger and India’s heavy master Bloodywood.

Headliner

BABYMETAL is a Japanese Kawaii Metal band formed in 2010. The band members are Suzuka Nakamoto as "Su-metal", Moa Kikuchi as "Moametal" and Momoko Okazaki as "Momometal" and are backed by Kami Band. The band was formed by Kobametal, a producer, who wanted to infuse Heavy Metal with Japan’s popular idol group format. Although the band released singles and performed live shows, it wasn’t until 2014 that they released their first self-titled studio album. Since then, BABYMETAL have released three more studio albums and have toured globally either as a supporting act or headliner. Throughout the years, BABYMETAL have shared the stage with many top of the charts and award winning musicians and bands, such as Lady Gaga, Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Slayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers and DragonForce to name a few. BABYMETAL have continuously won awards for Best Album of the Year from MTV Awards in Japan and multiple awards for Best Metal Act, Best Metal Music and more. The band’s notable hits include ‘Gimmie Chocolate!!,’  Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!,’ and ‘RATATATA.’ BABYMETAL’s fanbase has reached beyond Japan with over 3 Million monthly listeners from America, Australia, Brazil and Europe. 

Special Guests 

Jinjer

Jinjer is a European Heavy Metal band from Ukraine. Although formed in 2008, the current band members consider 2009 to be the official formation date. Since then, the band has released five studio albums with the latest released in February 2025. In 2017, Jinjer supported Arch Enemy with two tours across Europe. The following year in 2018, the band toured their first North American tour in support of Cradle of Filth. Jinjer has relentlessly toured in between each album and EP release, exposing them to many audiences and crowds across the world. The band’s recognisable hits are ‘Teacher! Teacher!,’ ‘Outlander,’ and ‘Pisces’ which was given the number 57 place on Metal Hammer’s "The 100 Greatest Metal Songs of the 21st Century" in 2021.

Bloodywood

Bloodywood is a Heavy Metal band from New Delhi, India. The band was formed in 2016 as a parody, covering pop songs in nu-metal and Asian infused music style. Their global reach began after covering Linkin Park’s single ‘Heavy’ in 2017, which featured on top Heavy Metal websites Loudwire and Metal Hammer. Bloodywood’s debut studio album ‘Rakshak’ was released in 2022, containing original materials that covered social and political topics. In 2024 the band signed with Fearless Records.
