The Alabamab born trio rose to prominence in 2013 with the release of their sophomore single, “Hold On.” The single, spawned from their debut album Boys & Girls, entered the Billboard 200 and performed incredibly well on the international charts. The single also garnered the band their first Grammy nomination. Three years later, the band released a single, “I Don’t Wanna Fight,” from their sophomore album Sound & Color. The song won them two Grammy Awards for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song. Meanwhile, the album won the Grammy for Best Alternative Album. Two years later, the band won their latest Grammy for their performance of Killer Diller Blues, winning American Roots Performance. That same year, the band went on hiatus. In 2024, the grand reunion comprising Britanny Howard, Zack Cockrell, and Heath Fogg was announced.
