Last year, she kicked off a Golden Jubilee "Together Again" tour, celebrating five decades in entertainment. With sold-out shows and jam-packed venues, her rockin' nights of big hits got fans, old and new, hooked for more. Now, she's extending the acclaimed tour with 35 shows on the roster, featuring special guest Nelly.
In anticipation of last year's shows, Janet shared "I feel great, we’re so excited," via Today. Kicking off a celebratory tour with another big artist in the scene, it sure was an exciting tour to look forward to. Now, demand continues to surge and fans have been longing to witness Janet's hits back on the live stage. The tour celebrates three of her most successful albums - "The Velvet Rope", "Janet", and "Rythm Nation", marking decades of hits and influence in the R&B and pop world. Sharing her talent in singing, dancing, and acting for over fifty years, she's one of a kind.
Now that we're celebrating decades of her majesty in the scene, fans have been in search of hints of new music coming out soon... Well, since 2015's "Unbreakable" and 2018's "Made for Now" with Daddy Yankee, we've all been waiting for the day that a new album lands on our hands.
"A lot of the fans have been saying, ‘Where’s the new music? When are we gonna get new music?’ So there will be new music" she shared.
