Shinedown’s latest single, “A Symptom of Being Human,” recently soared to the Top 30 of the Billboard’s Adult Pop Songs chart. The song was released in the spring of 2023 and follows a series of releases from their latest effort, Planet Zero. During an interview, Shinedown frontman Brent Smith explained that the latest track celebrates the beauty of differences and embracing life’s changes. This new single was preceded by a string of number 1 hits. Last year, Planet Zero spawned the title track and “Daylight” the previous year, topping the Mainstream Rock charts. In fact, the chart has been dominated by Shinedown since 2015. The band released their fifth album, Threat to the Survival, that year. The record spawned three number 1 hits, Cut the Cord,” “State of My Head,” and “How Did You Love.” All these songs went to number 1 on the Mainstream Rock chart.
This 2023, Shinedown proves that when it comes to writing excellent rock hits, they are at the top of the food chain. Fans can look forward to a plethora of new hits and several fan favorites from their earlier releases during their fall tour.
Special guest Papa Roach is also currently promoting their latest album, Ego Trip. The 2022 effort features several hits, including the number 1 Mainstream Rock singles “Kill the Noise” and “No Apologies.” Earlier this year, the band dropped their new west single, “Cut the Line,” featuring Beartooth, which peaked at number 2 on the Mainstream Rock chart. Papa Roach’s exemplary work with ego trip led to the band winning Rock Artist of the Year at the 2023 iHeart Radio Music Awards.
During their early years, Papa Roach rose to prominence after releasing their 2000 effort, Infest. The album entered the Billboard 200, peaking at number 5. Infest featured several nu-metal hits, such as “Last Resort,” “Broken Home,” and “Between Angels and Insects.”
Canadian heavy metal quartet Spiritbox joins The Revolutions Live Fall Tour line-up as a support act. The band has been known to infuse metalcore and progressive metal into one neat catchy package. Spiritbox’s debut album, Eternal Blue, found commercial success upon its release in 2021. The album topped two Billboard charts and peaked at number 13 on the Billboard 200.
